BioSponge are cylinder shaped filter sponges, 25 mm (c. 1”) high and 25 mm (c. 1”) in diameter and can be used in trickle or submersed filters. A large surface area is created by the pore structure of 60 ppi. biosponge is particularly suited to highly loaded filter systems as it can be rinsed and re-used
