Reef Plankton
Cyclop-eeze
CYCLOP-EEZE®
are a selectively bred, biologically engineered microorganism which are
cultured in a pristine arctic lake. The CYCLOP-EEZE® are a decapod
(10 legged) microscopic crustacean that are instantly characterized by
their intense blood-orange coloration.
The CYCLOP-EEZE® are voraciously consumed by all animals because they are very rich in the attractant Betaine as well as other palatability factors. Experimental test results at leading academic institutions indicate that the CYCLOP-EEZE® are highly stimulatory to the immune systems of most aquatic animals thus leading to greatly improved survival.adsorption capacity.

Zooplanktõs-S
Plankton
Size 50 - 300µm
Brightwell Aquatics Zooplanktos-S is a concentrated suspension of phytoplankton-enriched, adult Brachionus sp. (rotifers), their eggs, and the eggs of another group of crustaceans; the result is a food source rich in amino acids, fatty acids including omega-3 HUFAs, vitamins, minerals, and carotenoid pigments giving them a natural, bright yellow appearance. These prey items fall within the microplankton (20.0 - 200.0µm) and mesoplankton (200.0 - 2,000.0µm) classes of plankton. They are the proper size for feeding many species of stony corals (particularly those with short tentacles), as well as clams and other bivalves, sponges, tunicates (sea squirts), plumed worms (Christmas tree worms, feather dusters, etc.), larval crustaceans and bivalves, juvenile fishes, and the adults of planktivorous fishes (such as anthias, basslets, psuedochromids, dartfishes, chromis, etc.) and microinvertebrate-predators (such as mandarinfishes, some gobies, dwarf wrasses, etc.).

Zooplanktõs-M
Plankton Size 500 - 1,000µm (1mm)
Brightwell Aquatics Zooplanktos-M is a concentrated suspension of copepods,
a group of zooplankton heavily preyed upon by various aquatic organisms
because of their size. The specific variety of copepods present in Zooplanktos-M
are extremely rich in amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and
numerous carotenoid pigments, making them of exceptional nutritional
value to the organisms that they are consumed by. These copepods fall
within the mesoplankton (200.0 - 2,000.0µm) class of plankton.
They are the proper size for feeding many species of stony corals (large-
and small-polyp), as well as clams and other bivalves, plumed worms
(Christmas tree worms, feather dusters, etc.), larval crustaceans and
bivalves, juvenile fishes, and the adults of planktivorous fishes (such
as anthias, basslets, pseudochromids, dartfishes, chromis, etc.) and
microinvertebrate-predators (such as mandarinfishes, some gobies, dwarf
wrasses, etc.).

Zooplanktõs-L
Plankton Size 500 - 2,000µm (2mm)
Brightwell Aquatics Zooplanktos-L is a concentrated suspension of cladocerans,
a group of zooplankton heavily preyed upon by various aquatic organisms
because of their size.
The specific variety of cladocerans present in Zooplanktos-L are rich
in amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and xanthophyll (a carotenoid
pigment), making them of exceptional nutritional value to the organisms
that they are consumed by. These cladocerans fall within the mesoplankton
(200.0 - 2,000.0µm) class of plankton. They are the proper size
for feeding many species of stony corals (large- and small-polyp), as
well as clams and other bivalves, plumed worms (Christmas tree worms,
feather dusters, etc.), larval crustaceans and bivalves, juvenile fishes,
and the adults of planktivorous fishes (such as anthias, basslets, pseudochromids,
dartfishes, chromis, etc.) and microinvertebrate-predators (such as

Phytogold S
Plankton Size 4 - 10µm
Brightwell Aquatics PhytoGold-S is a concentrated suspension of Isochrysis
sp. and Pavlova sp., unicellular marine algae ranging in size from 4
- 10µm and providing the three omega-3 fatty acids EPA, DHA, and
ARA; both species of phytoplankton are particularly rich in the omega-3
fatty acid DHA, as well as in several important amino acids. These algae
fall within the size class of plankton known as nanoplankton (2.0 -
20.0µm), which is sometimes considered microplankton. They are
the proper size for feeding many species of soft corals (particularly
those with short tentacles), as well as clams and other bivalves, sponges,
tunicates (sea squirts), plumed worms (Christmas tree worms, feather
dusters, etc.), and larval invertebrates such as those of many bivalves.
Though Isochrysis and Pavlova provide a number of amino acids, one that
is not naturally present has been added to PhytoGold-S; this proprietary
amino acid has been shown in studies to increase coloration of corals
and other marine invertebrates.
